LOI_ CFNEG 2019 Grant Cycle

Welcome to the Community Foundation's 2019 General Grant Cycle!

In order to achieve the greatest impact, the 2019 areas of focus are: Food Insufficiency and Education. Only organizations which address those areas will be considered for funding through this general grant cycle.

Organizations may apply for grants up to $25,000.  Grant funds must be used for capacity building or capital expenses. We are not able to fund salaries with general grants.

Impact grants awarded (greater than $5,000) will be matching challenge grants.  A challenge grant allows your organization to leverage the Community Foundation grant to raise additional funds. For Example: A 2:1 challenge grant pays your organization $1 for every $2 you raise in new money, effectively making a $10,000 grant worth $30,000 to your bottom line. If requested, your organization should have the necessary capacity to raise the challenge funds prior to June 1, 2020.

Requests which include collaboration among similar organizations are encouraged.
